Putting the ball in the net proving to be a real problem for Nottingham Forest

Huddersfield boosted their survival hopes with a 2-1 victory over play-off chasing Nottingham Forest following goals from Christopher Schindler and Steve Mounie, his first since February.

Reds defender Joe Worrall pulled one back with a header 16 minutes from time with their first effort on target, but Forest slipped three points off the play-offs after their second straight defeat.

It’s no win in the last five games for Sabri Lamouchi’s men, who have failed to record maximum points since winning 4-0 at QPR in late November and face a tough trip to Hull City on Boxing Day.

An ill-tempered game threatened to boil over on more than one occasion, as Lamouchi and Town boss Danny Cowley exchanged heated words as both sets of players went down the tunnel at half-time.

After their latest defeat, one which leaves them adrift of the top six, in the video above, Barry Cooper and Sarah Clapson reflected on another frustrating afternoon for the faltering Reds.
