A teenage moped rider is fighting for life after being hit by a bus while fleeing police in south-west London.

The 17-year-old boy was struck in Upper Richmond Road, Putney, at about 1.20am on Monday.

Officers had been on an unconnected 999 call when they spotted him in Putney High Street and asked him to stop.
