'Put some respect' - Arsenal fans celebrate Invincibles as Liverpool thrashed by Aston Villa

Arsenal fans have been celebrating Liverpool's stunning defeat to Aston Villa this evening.

Gunners fans find themselves on an annual watch in the hope their club's invincible record will stand for another year.

This year's biggest threat was Liverpool, as it was last season before Jurgen Klopp's eventual champions were upset by Watford.

But just four games in, Liverpool's young unbeaten record has been ruined - and in some style.

Aston Villa defeated the reigning champions 7-2 to ensure they are one of only two teams to keep their 100% record, along with Everton.

While both Villa and Everton have looked very good in the early stages of the season, Arsenal fans are pretty confident neither of those teams will trouble the Invincibles' record from the 2003/04.

And with Liverpool checked off, Arsenal fans are already celebrating on social media.

Here's what they have said on Twitter this evening.

Liverpool dropped to fifth with their defeat to Villa, below Arsenal on goal difference.

Only Everton have won all four of their games, Villa winning three having played a game less.

Those two teams are the only of the 20 Premier League clubs to still have a zero in the loss column with Leicester also losing their unbeaten record on Sunday with defeat to West Ham.
