West Ham fans send message to co-owner David Sullivan after 3-1 loss to Arsenal

West Ham were beaten once again on Monday night and for a vast majority of the fanbase, they have now had enough of Manuel Pellegrini's tenure in the east of the capital.

Barring the 1-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend, the last two months have been rubbish from the Hammers and things got worse against Arsenal at the London Stadium on Monday night.

Leading 1-0 at half-time thanks to Angelo Ogbonna's deflected goal, the hosts failed to see out the lead and were undone inside ten second half minutes.

West Ham v Arsenal: Manuel Pellegrini press conference in full

Goals from Gabriel Martinellion his first Premier League start, Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was enough to seal a much needed win for the visitors as Freddie Ljungberg got off the mark as temporary boss.

But for the Hammers, they're still without a home win since that 2-0 success over Manchester United in mid-September.

And fans aren't happy with manager Manuel Pellegrini.

Speaking ahead of the game, the Chiliean tactician insisted regardless of the result against the Gunners his future in east London was safe.

"We are in a special season maybe because the league is so tight so if you win one you are in eighth position in the table," Pellegrini told reporters. "We are not in a critical moment.

"Normally teams that are not having good results, they feel they are tired.

"It can happen to all the teams here – one moment United, with our team, with Arsenal, with Tottenham  – but I don’t think that it is a physical or tactical thing.

"I think it is more mental."

Despite Pellegrini's stance, some Hammers fans don't share that view.

Football.London understands that Pellegrini will be in charge for Saturday's vital trip to Southampton and his press conference ahead of the game has been confirmed for Thursday afternoon.

Lose to the struggling Saints however and it could be curtains for the Chilean tactician after nearly 18 months at the helm.

He insisted post-game that he wasn't worried about relegation but those up above him are. The Board and manager had their usual post-match debrief on Tuesday where it is believed Pellegrini insisted he is still the right m,an to take West Ham forward but patience is starting to wear thin with those above him.
