A group of female amateur cyclists are riding every stage of the Tour ahead of the male pros - with traffic, a modest support team, and no prize money or fanfare.

They are trying to push for a women's version of cycling's biggest race - but the Tour de France organisers say it is not possible for now, mainly due to logistics.
