
Visitors admire wisteria at Kameido Tenjinja shrine in Koto Ward, Tokyo, on Wednesday. The wisteria are in full blossom at the shrine, known as one of the top wisteria viewing sites in the capital. The 15 arbors are filled with the pale purple flowers that emanate a sweet fragrance, attracting visitors to the shrine. According to the shrine, the wisteria blossoms will likely last throughout the Golden Week holidays, weather permitting. Through May 6, the wisteria will be illuminated from sunset to around 9 p.m.
