Ripstone has shared their first look at gameplay for Pure Pool Pro, the follow-up to its well-regarded cue sports series. The footage has been captured entirely in-engine from a live pre-alpha PC build.
The trailer takes viewers through a full frame of pool inside the game’s stylish new setting, the Rackhaus — a sleek pool club perched high atop a skyscraper. From the opening break to the final black ball drop, the presentation highlights the game’s ultra-realistic visuals, detailed ball physics and precisely tuned shot mechanics with everything running natively in 8K.
This is also the first time Ripstone’s custom-built Magma Engine has been seen in action. The tech brings physically accurate ball responses, ray-traced lighting and incredibly fine table details, pushing immersion to a new level for the series.
