The Pure Pool Pro team has shared more insight into what players can expect as the game gets closer to launch, covering game modes, pricing, cross play and plans beyond release.
The game will include several skill based mini games like Speed Pot, Checkpoint, Perfect Potter and Royal Rumble, all focused on accuracy, speed and shot control. A newer addition is Daily Clearance, which tasks players with clearing a randomized table without missing a single shot. Pull it off and you earn an exclusive crest, while simply checking in each day earns a separate crest that tracks participation with global leaderboards tied to the mode.
Full cross play is confirmed across all platforms, including the ability to play directly against friends using shared friend codes, not just random online matchmaking on Steam, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
Snooker is still in the plans as a paid DLC after launch, but the team has nothing new to share yet. They are focused on getting 8 Ball and 9 Ball in a great place first before shifting attention to additional content.
Pure Pool Pro will be priced at $24.99 with launch discounts available. Players who own the original Pure Pool can also expect loyalty discounts on supported platforms. On the release front, the developers confirmed the game is still currently planned for Q1 2026. They are holding off on an exact release date for now to avoid setting expectations too early, but noted they are getting close to locking one in.
