The Pure Pool Pro demo is available today on Steam giving players an early look at the next entry in Ripstone’s cue sports series.
The demo is built on a slightly updated version of the Closed Beta and while it’s still technically in Beta with a few rough edges, it’s stable enough for a wider release. The goal is to gather feedback from more players before the team moves into final optimization.
In the demo, players can spend time in the Rackhaus, a new skyscraper venue designed for freeplay, perfect for getting a feel for the refined physics and mechanics. There are also practice matches in both 8-Ball and 9-Ball against four AI opponents. Amber De Wit and Felix Song represent the Amateur level with full aim-line assistance, while Ethan Cruz and Iosofina Gatou offer a tougher challenge with limited aim-line support.
The game’s updated look is also on display with sharper visuals, improved lighting and detailed table surfaces, though some effects are still being worked on. Players will also get a first glimpse of the redesigned interface, which aims for a cleaner and smoother experience.
After finishing the demo, players are encouraged to share their thoughts through a feedback form. Ripstone notes that community input is central to development, helping the team fine-tune performance and gameplay across different systems. Once the Beta and Demo periods are complete, the focus will shift fully to polishing and optimization before an official release date is set. The game is still on track to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC later this year.
