Ripstone has confirmed that the closed beta for Pure Pool Pro will begin on Wednesday, September 24 and run for two weeks. A select group of players will be invited to jump in early and get a first look at the game.
Sign-ups are still open through the Closed Beta Sign Up Form, but spots are limited. Invitations will be sent out by email starting the week of September 15. Since the beta will be coordinated through a private Discord, players will need to have an account set up before taking part.
In the closed beta players will be able to jump into Freeplay at the Rackhaus, a modern skyscraper venue built to highlight the game’s physics and mechanics. Practice matches will also be available with two AI opponents offering very different challenges. Amber De Wit provides a lighter test with full aim-line assistance, while Ethan Cruz delivers a tougher battle with limited support and a more focused style of play.
On the visual side, the beta will introduce sharp lighting, improved reflections and detailed table surfaces, though a few rough spots are expected as development continues. The redesigned interface will also make its debut, giving players a first taste of the cleaner, smoother look the team is aiming for.
Sign-ups are still open! Be among the first to play Pure Pool Pro in our Steam Closed Beta this September.
