'Pure evil' son glued his dad's things to the ceiling everyday until he noticed

We all know the thrill of pulling a prank on someone and it going perfectly to plan, but this Reddit user went one step ahead when he pranked his dad.

Seaman The Sailor came up with the crazy idea that would surely make his dad go insane.

He planned to stick one of his dad's possessions to the ceiling every, single day until he noticed.

And for every day his dad didn't realise something had gone missing, his prankster son would glue something else up there.

He then posted a picture of the newly stuck item to his Reddit thread every day  he carried the prank on.

The prank started with his dad's glasses going missing (Reddit)

On the first day, the  posted a picture of his dad's glasses stuck to the ceiling, with the caption: "I stuck my dad's glasses to the ceiling. For every day he doesn't notice I will add another of his possessions."

He did mention that he wasn't so mean as to stick his normal glasses to the ceiling and instead opt for his reading glasses - how considerate.

The wayward son added: "The glasses are his readers and not main glasses so it’s not quite as bad."

With 30,000 up-votes, it was clear fellow Reddit users understood his humour and were keen to see what he hid next.

One said: "I find this pure evil and fully endorse it", and another added: "Would love to see how this ends".

Day four of the prank saw his dad's shoe, glasses, the remote control and more stuck to the ceiling (Reddit)

On the second day, he stuck his dad's phone clip beside the glasses, but still his dad was none the wiser.

But the third day of the challenge, was the pièce de résistance.

Using both blue tac and command strips, he managed to stick his dad's shoe to the ceiling.

While this was the most daring item to hide so far, it was likely that his dad had other pairs of shoes, so he probably wouldn't notice it had gone missing.

His dad only spotted something was going on when once the all-important TV remote disappeared and the prank finally came to an end.

The joker son captioned the final picture of the leftover adhesive on the ceiling with the caption: "Well boys it was a good run, but all things must come to an end."

He also said that his dad took the prank in good humour, called him "cheeky" and they shared a beer while laughing at the comments.
