Mount dispossessed Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi before finding the bottom corner in the seventh minute of the game at Stamford Bridge, with the Portsmouth-born Chelsea star earning plenty of praise for his performance against the Foxes.
He had some Chelsea fans waxing lyrical about his display , and there was someone else who was keeping a close eye on his performance.
And his good friend Rice, who played alongside Mount in Chelsea's academy as a young player, has backed the Blues midfielder to push on after netting against the Foxes.

Rice took to social media to send a message to Mount after his goal, with the 20-year-old speaking of his pride at seeing his pal find the back of the net.
