'Pure class!' - Some Chelsea fans are loving Declan Rice's message for Mason Mount

It has been a good day for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount after he scored his first Premier League goal in the draw with Leicester City.

And West Ham midfielder Declan Rice is backing the 20-year-old to score many more, after opening his account in the top flight.

Mount dispossessed Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi before finding the bottom corner in the seventh minute of the game at Stamford Bridge, with the Portsmouth-born Chelsea star earning plenty of praise for his performance against the Foxes.

He had some Chelsea fans waxing lyrical about his display , and there was someone else who was keeping a close eye on his performance.

And his good friend Rice, who played alongside Mount in Chelsea's academy as a young player, has backed the Blues midfielder to push on after netting against the Foxes.

Rice took to social media to send a message to Mount after his goal, with the 20-year-old speaking of his pride at seeing his pal find the back of the net.

And Rice's message has gone down well with some Chelsea fans, who have been quick to respond to the West Ham man, who has impressed with the Hammers in recent seasons.
