Puppy walkers wanted to train adorable guide dogs in Scotland

Dog lovers are being urged to volunteer for Guide Dogs Scotland as the charity announces a number of puppy walking roles.

The charity is appealing for volunteers across the country to raise a pup for between 12 and 16 months.

Guide Dogs Scotland are looking for puppy walkers to care for them (Dumfries and Galloway Standard)

Candidates will need access to a garden and a house suitable for training.

The pooches will grow to become assistance dogs for the charity.

Collection box coordinators, fundraisers and recruiting roles are also on the list.

Guide Dogs has helped over 29,000 people and are the world's largest breeder and trainer of working dogs.
