A puppy -napping gang have warned dog walkers: "Watch your animals - because we might be there."
The chilling threat from the gang of puppy thieves comes amid the rising number of dogs being stolen in the UK.
One particular gang has been at the centre of a new documentary which will leave pet owners shocked, according to Birmingham Live.
The new documentary, airing on VICE, reveals the shocking lengths criminal gangs will go to in order to steal dogs away from their owners.
The vile gangs stealing people's pet dogs from parks, gardens and houses have revealed the mass profits they make from the illegal puppy farming business.
One gang member tells the cameras a French Bulldog could be bought for £300 in Romania - but in the UK it could sell for up to £3000.
And he chillingly says: "Call it what you want. It's bread on the table.
"We're not interested in the puppies' welfare after the dogs have gone from us."
The gang leader says: "We take dogs wherever we find them. Whether it's actually going to a house or whatever to get them, whether it's a dog in the park we can lure away quickly - whatever way we can get them, we get them.
"It's not a great feeling obviously, but at the same time, you're doing it for the money, ain't you?"
In a warning to pet owners, he said: "Don't let your dog run ahead of you. Because when that happens, we might be there."
And another gang member says: "To me the dogs are just money."
