Senior pupils at a Cambuslang secondary turned the school pink for the day to raise awareness of breast cancer.
Sixth year students at Cathkin High hosted a 'Wear it Pink' day and also raised over £500 for charity.
All S6 pupils and staff were encouraged to wear pink to support breast cancer charities and raise awareness.
Pupil Cameron Lobban told Lanarkshire Live : "Breast cancer is a massive stigma for lots of people around the world who are scared to speak out and isn't talked about enough.
"Every year 11,500 women and 85 men die of breast cancer in the UK, which is horrific to think.
"I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the array of people wearing various different shades of pink.
"It made me speechless and proud of our school community."
The pupils of S6 also raised money for breast cancer by selling delicious cakes, pink masks and ran different competitions, making the day as special as they could.
Organiser Gavin Gardner told us : “We are thrilled with the outcome of the day and feel that we have highlighted the importance of supporting breast cancer charities.
"This event has had a huge impact on the pupils and made people more aware of breast cancer.
"The S6 pupils managed to raise £569.97 which is truly astonishing and makes me proud to be part of Cathkin High and sixth year."
