Pupils at an East Kilbride school got inventive with their harvest celebrations.
Heathery Knowe Primary School held its annual harvest assembly virtually presented by room four primary three pupils.
They also collected donations for a local foodbank and families were very generous as always. And each of the 10 classes also made a scarecrow and invited families and members of the local community to make one.
Depute head teacher, Laura French, said: “We were absolutely delighted with the efforts of everyone involved.
“Our gardening club children made the first scarecrow as an example.

“P4 children wrote letters asking for donations of straw from The Museum of Country Life in EK to which they kindly donated plenty.
“All classes had a tour of our scarecrow exhibition and families have enjoyed looking at them before and after school.”
