Pupil's jacket 'set on fire' sparks probe at high school in Fife

An investigation has been launched after a pupil's jacket was allegedly set on a fire at high school in Fife.

The shocking incident reportedly happened at Dunfermline High School around lunchtime on Friday May 10.

A 14-year-old boy was targeted within the grounds of the school.

It is suggested a piece of paper was lit by a match and placed inside the hood of the jacket before burning through and singing the victim's uniform, according to The Courier .

Although the boy was unharmed, he is said to have been left "extremely frightened" by the incident.
