A man logged into his betting account today to find he had won over €133,000 on a bet he had forgotten about for ten days.
The lucky punter didn't remember his €5 accumulator on the last day of the Premier League season on Sunday 12 May.
But when he finally logged back onto his Paddy Power account today, he realised he was sitting on a fortune.
The punter called all ten matches right on the final day including Cardiff's shock victory at Old Trafford over Manchester United and three draws.
It came in at eye-watering odds of 23,496/1 and landed the unaware Derbyshire man a cool £117,485.16.
A Paddy Power spokesman said: “Like finding a winning lottery ticket down the back of the sofa, this punter hadn’t realised he was over £117,000 richer from an accumulator he had on the last day of the season.
“He predicted the result of every game, including a loss for United against Cardiff, which in hindsight could’ve been the most obvious of the lot – but didn’t find out until 10 days after the event!”
