Arizona Cardinals punter Andy Lee has a new number on his jersey. However, it is not a new number to him.
He wore the No. 2 the last two seasons because kicker Phil Dawson wore No. 4, the number he wore his entire career. However, Lee wore No. 4 all 11 seasons he played for the San Francisco 49ers.
With Dawson gone, Lee has swapped his number and now wears No. 4. Lee’s No. 2 now belongs to fellow punter Ryan Winslow.
It is a minor change but one worth noting, as fans will be able to watch at the stadium and need to know who is wearing which numbers.
