AMRITSAR: Amritsar (rural) police have arrested 2 members of Jaggu Bhagwanpuria group on Wednesday.
Senior Superintend of Police Amritsar, rural, Swapan Sharma informed that two gangsters broke the checkpoint at Jandiala following which police chased them for nearly 11 kms and arrested them.
He said they also fired at the police party .
Those arrested have been identified as Gurbhej @ Baba and Shamsher @ Karan, both residents of Taran Taran .
Police have also recover 2 kg of heroine and one 30 bore pistol from their possession.
