Punjab: SAD forms sub-panel for feedback

CHANDIGARH: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Monday constituted a 13-member sub-committee, headed by its Sangrur district president Iqbal Singh Jhoonda, to take feedback from all sections of society, as well as, party cadre at the grass-roots level to analyse the reasons for the party’s debacle in the state assembly polls.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the 16-member high powered committee of the party, which was presided over by Prem Singh Chandumajra.

SAD spokesperson Daljit Singh Cheema said the sub-committee would present its report to the high-powered committee within two weeks. The sub-committee had been tasked with taking in-depth feedback from party workers and all sections of society. The sub-committee includes Manpreet Singh Ayali, Dr Sukhwinder Sukhi, Virsa Singh Valtoha, Gurpartap Singh Wadala, N K Sharma, Pawan Kumar Tinu, Harinderpal Singh Chandumajra, Parambans Singh Romana, Teerath Singh Mahla, Ravikaran Singh Kahlon, Gurpreet Singh Rajukhanna and Arshdeep Singh Robin Brar. tnn
