AMRITSAR: At least 1kg of RDX was recovered near Indo-Pak international border in the Dinanagar area of Punjab, police said on Wednesday.
Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Gurdaspur, Nanak Singh informed that cops had arrested Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Kakkar village falling under Lopoke police station on whose interrogation the explosives were recovered.
Earlier, officials had arrested two men, identified as Raj Singh and Jasmeet Singh, which led to the recovery of two hand grenades.
The team was still investigating where the explosives were to be used.
According to sources, BSF was carrying out a search operation in the border areas.
