MOHALI: Zirakpur police conducted a search operation at Maya Garden City Society on Nagla Road on Sunday. However, no suspicious person, weapon or vehicles were found from the society.
Police said there are 1,667 flats in the society, of which 1,350 are occupied by owners while 150 flats are locked. An official said tenants live in 167 flats whose verification and rent deed has been sought from the landlords. He said that 1,400 flats were checked in Maya Garden City Society. He said that if any person was found suspicious during the check, he would be apprehended and investigated.
