Punjab Congress MLAs to join Jantar Mantar protest

CHANDIGARH: Congress MLAs from Punjab will be participating in the protest being organised by the party at Jantar Mantar in Delhi against questioning of Rahul Gandhi by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the National Herald case.

“Till now, the party leaders were busy campaigning in Sangrur for the Lok Sabha bypoll. They will be joining the protest ahead of the next Assembly session that is scheduled to begin on June 24,” said a party leader.

The Congress has alleged misuse of the ED and harassment by the Centre of party leader Rahul Gandhi, who is being questioned by the probe agency in the alleged money laundering case.
