LUDHIANA: Even Sidhu Moose Wala’s family wasn’t aware which car he was taking while he left the house with friends Gurwinder Singh and Gurpreet Singh. This was revealed by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA of Mansa’s Sardulgarh area, Gurpreet Singh, who on Wednesday visited Ludhiana’s DMC Hospital to meet the injured duo.
The MLA claimed to have spoken to Moose Wala’s injured friends who made the revelation that even Sidhu’s family was unaware he was going to his relatives’ house. The MLA said Gurwinder and Gurpreet also shared that they had alerted Sidhu about a Toyota Corolla car chasing them, but he ignored them saying it could be fans. “It was ausual thing in his village of fans chasing him to get clicked with him. However, when for the second time a corolla car tried to overtake Thar, they had suspected a threat. On which Sidhu said ‘Don’t worry, I have a gun’.
The assailants firstly fired gunshots at the tyres of Thar so that Sidhu could not escape. Sidhu could fire only two gunshots and within seconds he was shot dead,” said the MLA. “According to the duo, Sidhu at first took a Mitsubishi Pajero car in which he could have taken his security personnel along, but it was punctured. Thereafter, Sidhu took out Thar as the distance was justseven kilometers. ”
According to the MLA, the injured duo shared that onlySidhu and those two were aware that Sidhu was going to visit his aunt (mother’s sister). Besides, they had also alerted Sidhu about the Toyota Corolla car chasing them.
Subhdeep Singh, aka Sidhu Moose Wala, was killed by a group of assailants on Sunday when the celebrity was riding a Mahindra Thar with the two men. Gurpreet said the condition of both injured men was stable, but they would have to undergo multiple surgeries. “The Punjab government will bear the expenses of their treatment in the hospital,” he said. “I talked to Sidhu’s father also who shared that he was upstairs when he noticed Sidhu going in a Thar without security. He rushed down and took out the Pajero, but when he found its tyre flat, he called his wife who used to keep the key of the bul-letproof Toyota Fortuner. Sidhu’s mother had gone out of the house which took a few minutes to return and then the father moved with security guards” added MLA.
When asked if only Sidhu and his two friends were aware of him going out in a Thar, then how did assailants get the information, MLA said, “The crowd of Sidhu’s fans remain outside his house to see him and it seems that either someone present there passed on the information or the accused were already keeping a watch on his activities. ”
Besides MLA Gurpeet Singh, the Mansa police cops also visited DMC hospital where the cops gave an application to get the medical record of Gurpreet and Gurwinder. Besides, the cops also interacted with the injured duo in the hospital.
