PUNE: The Yerawada Central Jail authorities on Sunday lodged separate complaints with the city police against two convicts on the charge of jumping emergency parole granted during the Covid pandemic to decongest the jail.
One of the convicts, Shahbaz alias Chinna Sadiq Bagwan, was sentenced to five years in prison in an attempt to murder case, while the other, Gaurav Rajkumar Sharma, was sentenced to one-and-a-half years in a theft case.
"A search for the two convicts is on," said police.
