When they did not return home till late at night, their families started calling them, but their cellphones were not reachable,” Ghuge said.
He said that their friends told the relatives that the duo and their one more friend had planned to visit the lake for a photoshoot. “The relatives rushed to the lake and found the motorcycle and the duo’s clothes near the bank,” Ghuge said.
He said that the police and the locals recovered the trio’s bodies earl on Monday. “We suspect that two of them entered into the water but failed to gauge the depth and started drowning. Their friend, who jumped into the water, too drowned. None of them knew how to swim,” Ghuge said.
He said three of them were college students. “Karim and Atique were students of computer science and Asrar was pursuing postgraduation,” Ghuge said.
