PUNE: The Bharati Vidyapeeth police on Wednesday detained three boys, aged between 15 and 16 years, for attempting to kill a 16-year-old orphan with stones over a phone at an open plot at Tukaramnagar in Ambegaon Khurd, off the Katraj-Dehu Road bypass, at 11.30pm on Tuesday.
The three boys after assaulting the teen, who is their friend, walked down to the police station and narrated how they assaulted him.
