The Suryastra system has been designed to carry out precision strikes deep inside hostile territory at ranges of up to 150 km and 300 km, significantly extending the reach of conventional artillery systems.
The rocket system is also said to support multiple types of rockets and missiles through a universal launch architecture, allowing different munitions to be deployed from the same platform without hardware modifications.
