Marcelo Bielsa is a breath of fresh air for the Championship and the Leeds United boss has attracted more fans to follow the division after his impact last season.
That is the view of TalkSport pundit Max Rushden, who believes the exciting addition of the experienced Argentine boss led to increased attention in last season's Championship.
Leeds ultimately fell short of their objective to achieve a return to the top-flight for the first time in over a decade but achieved a major success this summer by ensuring that Bielsa did not leave Elland Road.
That too was praised by Rushden, who stated it was incredible that the former Athletic Bilbao and Marseille boss continued to fight on with the Yorkshire giants.
"It's amazing they kept Bielsa. I think he's so exciting for the league, he made so many people watch the Championship, people were excited about him," he told TalkSport.
"The way Leeds, and Norwich to be fair, they were squads that you did not expect to achieve what they achieved last year. It's a shame for Leeds they didn't do it, it almost felt kind of destined."
Co-host Darren Gough also heaped plaudits upon Bielsa, identifying him as the sole reason behind what he believes was an over achievement from the squad last term.
"The reason where Leeds got where they did was because of Bielsa as a manager," Gough added.
"He got them playing with some much confidence, playing a high tempo style of football, was organised and brought players in who released they had to work their socks off to get into that side."
