Pundits Richard Foster and James McFadden were in agreement that Motherwell deserved a penalty for handball when they took on Celtic.
With Well trailing 2-0 thanks to goals from Jota and their former star David Turnbull, Graham Alexander's side needed a hint of luck.
And they expected that stroke of fortune to come when clumsy Boli Bolingoli almost punched the ball away from Motherwell striker Kevin van Veen.
But the call wasn't forthcoming despite furious protests from those in claret and amber and that's how the score stayed with Ange Postecoglou picking up a second away win on the bounce..
As both pundits were asked if they had any doubts replacement ref Chris Fordyce should have pointed to the spot, Foster replied: "No. It's a penalty.
"The ball is up, his arm is up above his shoulder. It definitely hits his arm and it alters the way the ball moves.
"This is probably the best angle to see it... I actually think he throws his arm out towards the ball.
"Van Veen has taken the ball past him, it hits his hand and the linesman has got to see it, if not the referee.
"It's a definite penalty, and Motherwell can feel aggrieved not to get it."
Alexander was furious after the match and suggested his side rarely get the big decisions in their favour.
And Steelmen hero McFadden added: "When you play against Celtic you need a bit of luck, you need decisions to go your way.
"It's clearly a penalty and the referee and assistant referee have missed it."
