Robbie Savage has hinted that Harry Kane may need to leave Tottenham if he's to win silverware.
The Spurs star has been one of the Premier League's top strikers over the last few years but is yet to win a trophy with the North London side, despite coming close on several occasions.
Kane has been linked with big-money moves to Real Madrid and Manchester United in the past, and speaking to 5 Live, Savage says that he may have achieved all that he can with Mauricio Pochettino's side.
He said: “When comes the point for Kane to say ‘do you know what it’s time to move on’. With this Spurs team, he’s not going to win anything. I know that they got to a Champions League final.
“Was it Roy Keane that said on TV that if I was Manchester United, I would just go and buy Harry Kane? You might say what are they going to win in the future. Not winning trophies for Manchester United, and playing for them, is far bigger than winning no trophies for Tottenham.
“What’s going to keep Kane? They’re not going to win anything this season. They are mid-table. They might get into the top-four. But is that good enough for Harry Kane?
"When you speak to the likes of Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs & Gary Neville. All the players who have won trophies, all the Man City players, the celebrations for the top players is to win trophies.
“Harry Kane is going to be a multi-millionaire wherever he goes. So surely when Kane looks back and says ‘you know what, I’m a multi-millionaire, but I didn’t win anything’ – Kane is a class act. Very, very good player.
"But staying at Spurs he must be getting frustrated because they’re not going to win anything, so surely you are going to have to move.”
