Nottingham Forest have the chance to edge closer to the automatic promotion spots in the Sky Bet Championship table this week.
The Reds take on Reading on Wednesday night in their rearranged fixture at the City Ground, after the original match was postponed in October due to a waterlogged pitch.
Forest are now six points off league leaders West Bromwich Albion after their loss to Stoke City on Monday night, and still have a game in hand.
Victory at the City Ground would put Sabri Lamouchi’s side three points adrift of the league summit, and two behind second placed Leeds United.
Former Reds midfielder and current Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has made his regular Forest prediction ahead of Wednesday’s clash against the Royals.
Prutton reckons Reading will prove to be tough opponents for Forest, and has predicted a 2-2 draw on Trentside.
“Nottingham Forest are in great form right now,” said Prutton.
“Joe Lolley looks to have hit top speed to help support Lewis Grabban and they look solid at the back too.
“They could close the gap on West Brom and Leeds.
“Reading have slowed a little in their last couple of games under Mark Bowen, but are still giving a good account of themselves wherever they go.
“I actually fancy them to nick a draw at the City Ground.”
