Tottenham Hotspur are likely to revive their interest in Jack Grealish this summer and will emerge successful in their bid to land the midfielder.
That is according to former Leeds United forward Noel Whelan, who believes that Grealish would be an excellent addition to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Grealish has been an integral part of a Villa side seeking to win promotion back to the Premier League via the playoffs, with Dean Smith’s side sitting as the in-form side in the division after winning ten matches in a row.

However, promotion may not be enough to fend off Spurs’ interest in Grealish and Whelan believes a transfer between the two clubs could still go ahead.
“You can see it happening. It’s been on the cards for a while and Spurs nearly got him last summer. I think he’ll join Spurs soon enough, and probably this summer,” he told Football Insider.

“Jack Grealish has all the talent in the world. In the past two months he has proved he can be that all-round midfield player.

"He’s added more goals and assists, and that extra quality in final third. Yes, it’s in the Championship and a different level to the Premier League, but Spurs wouldn’t be chasing him if he wasn’t a top player and they could get him even if Villa go up.”
