The label is simplistic. The winemaker eclectic. The juice inside fantastic. Charles Smith's Cs Substance cabernet is priced like an everyday wine, but tastes like something special. At $17.99, Cs has all the style and elegance of a high-end Columbia Valley wine at a fraction of the cost. Many of Smith's wines are small production, higher priced, and a huge hit among critics. Smith wanted to make an affordable wine we can all enjoy without breaking the bank. Keep this bottle away from your pal Gordy the Guzzler. You'll want to savor every sip. I tried it with a piece of aged Gouda cheese, Castelvetrano olive spread and grilled Italian sausage. Yuuuuuuum!
