Altos 2015 Malbec from Argentina is like the eighth grade kid who plays on varsity. This one's a real overachiever at $11.99! Sometimes a nibble of the right cheese makes a wine drink like $30. Ewephoria Sheep's Milk Gouda is that cheese. Appropriately named, the cheese and wine together were sensational. It's a nice and easy sipper. It also went well with walnut stuffed dates, and chicken tacos. The Altos was also superb on the second day after being opened. Not common in this price range.
