Pulp Fiction star dies unexpectedly aged 68

  • British actor and TV writer Stephen Hibbert, best known for his role as The Gimp in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, has died unexpectedly at the age of 68.
  • Hibbert passed away on Monday, 2 March, in Denver, Colorado, with his family reporting a heart attack as the cause, pending an autopsy.
  • He began his career as a writer for Late Night with David Letterman from 1984 to 1986 and also wrote for animated series like Darkwing Duck and Animaniacs.
  • In 1994, he co-wrote It’s Pat: The Movie and gained significant recognition for his memorable performance in the crime-thriller film Pulp Fiction.
  • Hibbert's acting credits also include Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and The Cat in the Hat, and he is survived by his three children.
