Puducherry reports 96 fresh Covid cases

PUDUCHERRY: The Union territory of Puducherry reported 96 fresh Covid-19 cases on Sunday, when 100 patients recovered bringing down the active cases to 692. Of them, 535 patients are under home isolation and treatment.

Two patients died of the infection taking the death toll to 1,812. Puducherry headquarters reported the maximum fresh cases with 65, enclave Yanam did not report any. Healthcare authorities have so far administered 8.04 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine (including the second dose).
