PUDUCHERRY: Puducherry reported 54 fresh Covid-19 cases even as 109 patients recovered in the last 24 hours ending at 10am on Monday bringing down the active cases to 867.
Of them, 726 patients are under home isolation and treatment.
Puducherry headquarters has the maximum fresh cases with 34 followed by Karaikal and Mahe (5). Yanam did not report any fresh case. Puducherry headquarters has the maximum active cases with 549 followed by Karaikal (236), Mahe (66) and Yanam (16).
A 78-year-old woman with comorbidities from Puducherry patient died of the infection taking the death toll to 1,832.
Healthcare authorities so far administered 9.12 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine (including the second dose) to the beneficiaries.
