It’s been a few years since Hearts fans have had to make the trip to Hampden for a cup final.
Six in fact, and ahead of Saturday’s William Hill Scottish Cup final against Celtic, many Jambos are likely to be through early.
Of course, ScotRail prohibits drinking alcohol on board before 10am and after 9pm, although there are likely to be all day restrictions in place between Edinburgh and Glasgow, as is often the case for big matches.
But where can fans head in and around Hampden for a pint before the game? Many will have venues booked in advance through supporters clubs, and it’s always worth checking if your venue of choice has applied for an early licence, but here’s a list that may prove useful.
