The warning is displayed on a steel board on the direction of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

NCB Zonal Director, Lucknow, Prashant Srivastava said, “All the licensed 670 pubs, bars, and restaurants across the state have put up display boards in coordination with the excise department for spreading awareness against drug abuse as per the directions of the MHA.”
They have displayed the notice that reads ‘Consumption, trafficking and harbouring of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances is prohibited in law and punishable with rigorous imprisonment and fine’ on steel boards, said the officer.
