Nicola Sturgeon has confirmed today that Scotland will move to level 3 lockdown on Monday (April 26).
The relaxation of covid restrictions will mean pubs, restaurants and cafes will be able to open for the first time in months.
Hospitality premises can reopen outdoors for groups of up to six people from up to six households with alcohol in line with local licensing laws, and indoors for groups of up to six people from up to two households without alcohol until 8pm.
The First Minister did however announce a change to the track and trace rule ahead of when pubs, restaurants and cafes reopen.

Venues will now be required to take down the name and contact details for every visitor to their premises from Monday, rather than just the details for the lead member of each household as was the case previously.
Confirming the change at today's covid update, Ms Sturgeon said: "We are also publishing today updated guidance on the collection of contact details. This guidance makes it clear that venues should take down contact details for all of their customers – rather than simply for the lead member of each household."
Meanwhile, an update to the tourism and hospitality sector guidance issued by the Scottish Government noted that the change will "create consistency across the range of settings where this is requested or mandated in Scotland, and at the same time ensure that relevant data is captured to assist the Test and Protect contact tracing service."
