The public have been warned not to approach a missing man from Darlington who may be in Edinburgh.
Michael Errington, 51, was last seen on Saturday morning in the County Durham town and has not been heard from since.
It's thought me might have travelled to Scotland and could be in Edinburgh. He also has links to Northumbria.

Durham Constabulary released a photo of him, saying members of the public should call police if they see him.
Acting Superintendent Steve Long said: "We are appealing for anyone who has any information regarding Michael’s whereabouts to contact us.
"If members of the public do see him, we would urge them not to approach him but to call us immediately on 101."

He was wearing a red polo shirt and may also be wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and white trainers.
Police say he has lost a significant amount of weight since the photo of him was taken.
