A public toilet block was ‘flushed’ with bids at an auction earlier this week - selling for more than three times the guided price.
Manchester-based Pugh Auctions had valued the vacant public convenience, belonging to a Cheshire village, at £10,000 but sold for a whopping £32,000 during an online auction.
The public toilet block in Barnton, near Northwich, was described by the auctioneers as having ‘development potential’.

Pugh Auctions said of the Lydyett Lane listing, via Cheshire Live : "Vacant former public toilets with development potential subject to the necessary consents.
"The property is located in the village of Barnton, which lies approximately two miles north west of Northwich, in a primarily residential location at the intersection of Lydyett Lane and Runcorn Road."

The auction ended on Wednesday, having sold to an unknown bidder.
Also snapped up at the auction was a building and land adjoining Chester railway station, which has planning permission in place for the creation of four apartments.
In relation to the site, the Deansgate -based auctioneer stated: "A development opportunity comprising land and buildings with approved planning permission to construct four self-contained apartments.
"The finished apartments would be a mix of studio and one bedroom units ranging between 22.5sqm and 35sqm and provide an excellent opportunity for a builder or developer looking for their next project.
"The apartments would be suitable for resale or investment/short stay rental purposes once built."
