Public thanked after man missing from Perth traced safe and well

Police officers have thanked the public for their help after a missing man was found after three days.

William Duncan (66) was reported missing on Monday, February 3.

However, officers today confirmed he had been traced safe and well (Thursday, February 6).

A police spokesperson said: “Officers would like to thank everyone who assisted police in their inquiries to trace Mr Duncan.”

He had been reported missing from Invergordon in Easter Ross, but was last seen in The Tavern pub on Perth’s South Street.

A public appeal to help trace him was then put out by police officers.
