Public service workers can look forward to exclusive Black Friday deals

According to Mirror Online, some Black Friday deals have gone live which are only available to public service workers.

Specifically, the deals are tailored to people who dedicate their lives to keeping other people safe.

This is thanks to a scheme set up by holders of the Blue Light Card .  

There are some amazing discounts to be had, including up to 40 per cent off at Cineworld, Reebok, BT, Hotpoint, Muscle Food, Lovehoney, Virgin Experience Days and Virgin Wines. 

Alex Dalby from Blue Light Card said: “Black Friday is a huge event in the retail calendar, and this year is no exception. 

"We anticipate huge demand from savvy shoppers looking to save money on Christmas presents this November - so I’d urge everyone to register early and make the most of the discounts as soon as they go live.”

How to get your hands on a card

Only public sector and emergency services workers are eligible for a Blue Light Card discounts. 

To qualify, you need to input your name, county, email address and work details. 

Once you're signed up, you can look forward to discounts in more than 8,000 high street shops, restaurants and venues all year around.

These include: Toby Carvery, Hotels.com, Cineworld, Sky, EE, Halfords and many more.

Those, who register will get a physical card to use in stores, as well as a digital account for online shopping. 

It's free to sign up for access to online discounts, but a physical card to use on the high street will cost £4.99.
