A further 236 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Scotland in the last 24 hours.
One new death – in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde – has been reported over the same period, bringing the nation's death toll for the pandemic to 7,661.
However, 10,097 fatalities have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to Sunday, May 2.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Moray has by far and away the highest rate in the country — at 95.0 as of Thursday, April 29.
East Ayrshire has the second-highest infection rate at 42.6.
Neighbouring local authorites South Ayrshire (10.7) and North Ayrshire (15.6) fare considerably better.

There are currently 68 Covid patients in Scottish hospitals — with fewer than five in the NHS Ayrshire & Arran health board region.
Currently, eight people are receiving treatment for the disease in intensive care, again, with fewer than five in Ayrshire.
The vaccination programme is close to hitting another milestone with 2,876,633 people now had the first dose of a vaccine. A total of 1,424,208 have received their second dose.
