Another 2,047 Covid cases have been diagnosed in Scotland as the number of patients being treated for the disease in hospital drops.
Data has been published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland this afternoon as part of the national Covid-19 daily briefing.
Nationally, there are 532 patients being treated in hospital which is down 11 from yesterday. There are currently 48 people with the disease being treated in ICU.
The number of newly-reported positive coronavirus cases recorded by NHS Ayrshire & Arran has increased by 79 to 22,913.
Of the new cases, 28 were from South Ayrshire and 26 were attributed to North Ayrshire. There were 24 new cases in East Ayrshire.
A total of 325,335 positive tests have now been recorded from 2.378 million tests carried out since the start of the pandemic.
According to Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Midlothian has the highest infection rate in the country – at 587.3 as of Thursday, July 15.
The second-highest is Dundee City which has a rate of 498.3 while Angus (426.9) has the third-highest rate.
Locally, North Ayrshire's infection rate stands at 195.9 with South Ayrshire at 188.3. East Ayrshire's is 181.1.
Currently, 18 of Scotland's 32 council regions have an infection rate below the national average of 308.5.

Five more deaths have been announced in the last 24 hours which means 7,796 people have passed away since March 2020.
However, data from the National Records of Scotland (NRS) shows 10,220 deaths had been registered up to Sunday, July 11 where the disease was mentioned on the death certificate.
Across the UK, the figure is 128,593 as of last night.
There are 19 patients being treated for the disease in Ayrshire hospitals, which is up three on yesterday, and fewer than five in ICUs.
Nationally, a total of 3,963,502 people have received the first dose of a Covid vaccine and 2,940,202 have received their second dose.
