Covid patient numbers in Ayrshire have fallen for the first time in four days as new cases slow again.
New data shows 26 people are in NHS Ayrshire & Arran hospitals with confirmed coronavirus, down from 31.
There remain fewer than five patients battling the virus in intensive care.
No new deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours bringing Ayrshire's seven-day total to three.
Figures released this afternoon by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland show daily COVID-19 case numbers in the region have fallen from 38 to 32.
Ayrshire and Arran had 232 positive cases between the week March 17 -23, and a new total of 16,376 since March 9, 2020.
The county has a positivity rate over the past seven days of 63.1 per 100,000, compared to the national average of 71.2.
Across Scotland 543 new cases and six deaths have been reported.
Latest vaccine stats show 2,322,832 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 279,814 have received their second dose.
