One Ayrshire council region now has the lowest coronavirus infection rate in the area.
East Ayrshire, which previously had the highest seven-day case rate per 100,000 population, now has the lowest in the county.
North Ayrshire remains the worst hit with a case rate of 82.4; South Ayrshire is on 75.5 and East Ayrshire has 60.7.
The news comes as NHS Ayrshire & Arran recorded 42 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the region's total to 15,800.
That leaves the health board with a seven-day case rate of 73.6.
Of 17 new Scottish Covid deaths, one occurred in Ayrshire, data shows.
A total of 682 new cases have been reported overnight with Scotland's total now at 208,429.
Ayrshire hospital numbers dropped to their lowest level since October with 53 people in NHS Ayrshire & Arran facilities with the virus. ICU numbers remain below five.
